Support Our Work

IMCE is developing Experience Studies: a multilayered metacognitive framework designed to help people respond to experience with greater clarity, resilience and stability. We believe these capacities can be developed through both conceptual understanding and direct experience.

At the heart of this work is awareness, discernment & agency, the capacity to make and act on informed choices. We aim to prepare young people for a world in which increasingly intelligent, human-like systems can develop intimate understandings of them and use those insights to influence their choices—often in pursuit of goals that do not align with their interests.

We are currently fundraising to bring our ambitious program of courses, content & resources forward. You can help by donating or sharing our work. Your support will help us develop resources, workshops and practical tools for parents, teachers, schools and students to try, evaluate and shape.

Help launch Psynapp – and support IMCE

To support the development of IMCE’s courses, content and practical resources, we are preparing the first edition of Psynapp: a 500-page hardback manual introducing Experience Studies.

Our first print run will be limited to 1,000 copies, with publication planned for the end of January 2027. Donate £50 or more and you can choose to receive a signed first-edition copy as our thank-you. Postage and packaging are included. Funds raised beyond production, fulfilment and payment costs will support IMCE’s wider work. Every contribution helps. You can give any amount, and you are welcome to support the project without receiving a book.

Other Ways to Get Involved

There are lots of ways to be part of what we’re building. Share our work, make an introduction, connect us with a school, researcher or potential funding partner, or join the mailing list and follow along. And if you have an idea for how we might work together, just get in touch.

Thankyou

Your support helps us continue developing Metacognitive Education as a practical response to one of the defining challenges of our time.
